INVICTA COACHING COMPETITION Record Entry, nearly 40 to first of the 2018 Junior Grand Prix Series held in East Kent at Thanet Viking’s on 22md April. Nearly 2 hours coaching and then nearly two hours of competition in like ability groups. Players from Ashford TTC, Chatham TTC, Chestfield TTC, Cleeve Park TTC, Meopham TTC, Thanet Vikings TTC. The next events are North Kent at Chatham on 20th May and Mid Kent at Barming on 03rd June, then other events and locations through to November. This is the second year of this KCTTA development initiative. Report and results will be posted later this week under News/Reports>KCTTA. 

KENT LEAGUE Division 1 Congratulations to Gravesend on taking division 1 in their first season, an excellent team who went undefeated of Justin Dodd (92%), Alan Longhurst (85%), Emma Tovey (69%), led by captain Sue Pingram. Winners Gravesend A 52pts runners up Medway 33pts third Maidstone A 32pts Division 2 winners Canterbury A unbeaten 41pts runners up Gravesend B 28pts third West Kent C 26pts. Well done to Canterbury's Vince Corbin (100%), Adam Dyer (58%), Peter Chapman (83%), supported by Paul Whittaker (89%) who return to Division 1 after a short absence. Division 3 has gone to Canterbury B (John Wickings 53%, Mick Micklethwaite 60%, Paul Whittaker 93%) and the runner up is Thanet, third Ashford C. COACHING sessions at Beechwood Barming continue the third month of six month programme with the KCTTA Coaching Officer. Development initiative supported by Barming TTC. Last year series of sessions held at Southborough supported by West Kent TTA and Teen and Twenty TTC. 

KENT TEAM TOURNAMENT 2019 dates to remember for next season - Intermediate (Kent League divisions 2 and 3) Sunday 18th November - Senior (Kent League division 1) Sunday 10th February - both are at The Howard TTC, Rainham.
